My husband is currently deployed, and he will be home sometime next spring. We would like to have a renewal of vows to celebrate, the strength of our marriage, our life together, and the love that we share. We do have 4 children, and we're not sure if they should be included in the ceremony. My husband and I are throwing around ideas. We definitely want to keep the attire casual. We just don't know when or where yet. We currently live in Virginia (Hampton Roads), and we just don't want to do it on the beach. We wouldn't mind traveling, but we don't want to travel a long distance. We've thought about Tennessee, in the Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg area. There are a few wedding chapels there, that appealed to me. We could do it here in our home church, but the church is really dark, and old. Having the renewal of vows in the Shenandoah National Park also appeals to me as well. We just want something different, somewhat unique, and definitely in a pretty setting.... Read More »
